Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow: Student’s Role in Pharmacy & Nation

The School of Pharmacy, RK University, in association with Pharma Vision Gujarat, successfully organized an expert session on the theme “Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow: Student’s Role in Pharmacy & Nation.” The event highlighted the vital role of pharmacy students in shaping the healthcare system, advancing pharmaceutical sciences, and contributing to national development. The session aimed to inspire young minds to adopt innovation, ethics, and leadership as key pillars of their academic and professional journey.

The program was coordinated by Dr. Hitesh J. Vekaria with the support of Dr. Vaibhavi Savalia and Ms. Kajalkumari Kalariya, under the valuable guidance of Dr. Pravin Tirgar, Director and Professor, School of Pharmacy, RK University. The deliberations emphasized the need for skill enhancement, research aptitude, and entrepreneurial outlook among pharmacy students to meet the dynamic demands of the profession.

Through interactive discussions and expert insights, participants gained a broader perspective on how students can act as future leaders in strengthening public health, pharmaceutical industry growth, and socio-economic progress. The session concluded with a call to action for students to blend knowledge with responsibility, thereby becoming agents of change for both the profession and the nation.
