School of Pharmacy, RK University organized filed educational visit at Primary Health Center (PHC), Gadhaka, Rajkot for better understanding concept of community pharmacy and role of Pharmacist in PHC.The PHC-Gadhaka is accredited by National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) is a constituent board of Quality Council of India.Dr. Hardik Patel, Chief officer, Gadhaka – PHC and Dr. Dhruvi Pandya delivered a session to our students of 7th Sem B. Pharm – Practice school (Pharmacology) and 3rd Sem M.Pharm (Pharmacology) and explained to them about functioning of PHC, Role of Pharmacist in PHC, Immunization Programme and various government initiatives to promote health care at village level. Visit was organized by Ms. Kajal Kalaria, Assistant Professor, School of Pharmacy.
