As an example of what an academic institute can do for an industry, a training program for industry personnel was organized by School of Pharmacy, RK University, for the employees of Erva Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., Rajkot, on 20th July 2022. The program aimed at imparting knowledge on crucial aspects of three sophisticated instruments widely used in the Pharma industry: Dissolution Apparatus, Ultraviolet - Visible Spectrophotometer and High Performance Liquid Chromatography, focusing particularly on clearing the concepts behind the working of the instruments, which can thereby help with troubleshooting. Owner of Erva Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Hitesh Dholariya and his team also interacted with students of B. Pharm and M. Pharm. The program was a grand success because of the systematic support from the well-established Centre for Professional Development (CPD) and Industry-Institute Interaction Cell (I3C) of RK University. The entire event was coordinated by Mr. Vishvesh Kanabar with the help of Dr. Ravi Ajudia under the support and guidance of Prof. Devang Pandya.
